The sun and the moon

Like the sun and the moon
Together we can not bloom
When I’m up you’re down
Telling me to stop illuminating your part of town
Our worlds shall not collide
For I’m too full of life for someone so sterile
They say ours was an impossible love affair,
A beautiful tragedy full of despair
You said in the name of love, all was fair
But I should have known better…

Before I defied the universe and crossed seas

To force into existence what can not be

Only to be told, that the moon solely loves what it can not have…
